How to get orders on WhatsApp
If your business has a catalog or menu, you can add “Order by message” mode: the customer adds items to a cart and sends you a clear order straight to WhatsApp. There's no payment on the site, and we don't store the order. It lives in your WhatsApp chat with the customer.
- Add items to your catalog
In the wizard, in the “Add-ons” step, open the “Catalog / Menu” module and add items: a photo, a name and a price. - Turn on “Order by message”
In the module settings, check “Order by message (WhatsApp)”. You can add an opening text, and also a link to your own payment page (Grow/PayBox) that will be attached to the message. - Make sure there's a number to receive orders
The order is sent to your business WhatsApp number (from the WhatsApp add-on), or, if there isn't one, to your business phone. Without a number, order mode won't appear on the site. - The customer sends, you receive
On the site, the customer adds items to the cart, enters a name and phone, and clicks “Send order on WhatsApp”. A WhatsApp chat opens for you with the full order: items, quantities and total.
This works best for businesses that want to take orders without setting up a full store with payments: a bakery, a restaurant, a neighborhood shop. The customer orders in a few taps, and the order lands with you on WhatsApp, where you already work. You settle the final details (payment, pickup or delivery) directly with the customer, however suits you.
