How to republish
After you edit texts or details, the change is saved in the dashboard but isn't live yet. To update the live site, you republish it.
- Save your changes
First, save what you edited in the site editor. - Click “Republish”
The button is available for a site that's already published, and it's disabled while there's an unsaved change. So save first, then publish. - Why it isn't automatic
We deliberately made republishing a conscious action, so you never push a half-finished change to your live site by mistake.
Separating “save” from “publish” sounds minor, but it matters: it lets you edit calmly, save drafts and check that everything is right, and only then decide to go live. The live site doesn't change until you click “Republish”. That way, a customer visiting your site never lands on a work-in-progress version.
